Finland is known for many popular heavy metal and rock bands, from H.I.M. and Apocalyptica to Children of Bodom, Finnish metal has become a premium name in heavy metal exports, and continues to exceed in excellence with newer bands.

In today's Finnish charts, HEVISAURUS a heavy metal band which includes 4 dinosaurs and a dragon as their frontman, is quickly climbing up the numbers with their second full length album "Hirmuliskojen Yö" that is currently holding the 3rd position.

Blabbermouth reports, HEVISAURUS as "one of the the hottest things in Finnish children's music."

"Hirmuliskojen Yö" features guest appearances by famous Finnish musicians such as: Janne Wirman (CHILDREN OF BODOM) Perttu Kivilaakso (APOCALYPTICA), Janne "Burton" Puurtinen (HIM), Antti "Hyrde" Hyyrynen (STAM1NA), Nino Laurenne (THUNDERSTONE) and Elias Viljanen (SONATA ARCTICA).

It only makes sense to start a band that sings metal for children, when babies like this one, love their music as br00tal as the next sweaty guy.

I still think the metalest song ever created for kids would have to be the opening theme to Power Rangers, that was pure POWA Metal! (Co Co!)
