Singapore grindcore trio WORMROT have released a new, official music video for the track "Erased Existence", which is taken from the band's new album, DIRGE.
The video for "Erased Existence" was partially filmed during a live show at The Blvd in Los Angeles, California. The video was directed by DAVE VORHES (WHITE WIZZARD, BONDED BY BLOOD), who also filmed the band's recently released video for "Spot A Pathetic".
"Erased Existence is about diminishing human violence retardation. We filmed this video at Scion festival in LA the other week where, in the whole history of Wormrot, we had the biggest circle pit we've ever had - and really early on in the day! Don't forget to download DIRGE! Nabey cheebai!"
Following a huge buzz in the online world about WORMROT's new album, DIRGE, Earache Records and the band have made the entire album available to download for free.
DIRGE is due to be released on CD as well as limited edition coloured vinyl LP on May 3rd in North America and May 23rd in Europe. The limited edition coloured vinyls feature two bonus tracks and are available in the following quantities and colours:

British melodic death metallers THE SOULLESS, who are due to release their new album, ISOLATED, on May 16th,[Ed note: click here to read our review for "Isolated"]have added two new members to the group's line-up.
Formerly known as IGNOMINIOUS INCARCERATION, vocalist ANDY WARDLE, guitarist STEVE BROWN and bassist CHRIS BALL have added KRISTEN DAWSON as the group's second guitarist and DAN WILDING (ABORTED, TRIGGER THE BLOODSHED) as the band's new drummer.
THE SOULLESS comment on new guitarist KRISTEN DAWSON:
"We auditioned guitarists for months, with not much luck for the perfect shredder. The band While She Sleeps are great friends of ours and recommended a guy from their area. They said he was perfect for the band and we trust their opinion so we gave him a shot.
"He sent us an audition video for the song 'Earthbound'. His was by far the best audition video so we invited him down to the studio while we were recording 'Isolated', the debut Soulless album. We wanted Kristen to hear the album to ensure it was the music he was interested in. He loved what we were doing and really wanted to be involved. He stayed with us over the duration of the studio time. This allowed us to test him out as we could get him to play along to the studio tracks as if recording, so we could hear every mistake. He nailed what we gave him, especially considering the short time he had to learn the songs. We spent two weeks with him and got on well so the decision was easy.
On new drummer DAN WILDING:
"Sam Bailey, who played drums for II, helped us out by recording the drums for the album, but was leaving the band to pursue other projects. So we needed a drummer. We asked a few friends to see if they could fill in whilst we searched for a permanent member. We knew Dan Wilding from friends Trigger The Bloodshed, and asked if he could fill in while not busy with other projects. He came to check the album out during the mixing process and liked the material so much that he asked to be a permanent member. The band was really happy with this as we knew Dan to be an amazing, really professional drummer who happened to be a super nice guy too. So, of course we said yes and The Soulless line up was complete and ready to shred!"

Singapore's #1 grindcore export, WORMROT have released a brand new track from their forthcoming album, DIRGE. The track, entitled "Manipulation," is a minute-long burst of ferocity, terror and outright aggression. It hits all of the marks that have endearedWORMROTto the worldwide metal underground.

[PRESS RELEASE] Earache Records is proud to announce the signing of Scottish death metal band CEREBRAL BORE to a worldwide recording deal.
CEREBRAL BORE are a young, talented group which formed in 2006 in Glasgow, Scotland and have built up a formidable reputation for their extreme brand of death metal.
The band is comprised of frontwoman SIMONE "SOM" PLUIJMERS, a 19-year old from the Netherlands with an inexplicable talent for brutal death metal vocals, along with guitarist PAUL MCGUIRE, bassist KYLE RUTHERFORD and drummer ALLAN MCDIBET.
CEREBRAL BORE has issued the following statement concerning their deal with Earache Records:
"It's hard to describe how proud we are to sign with Earache Records. Being at the same starting blocks as bands like Carcass, Morbid Angel, Decapitated and Napalm Death, is something that we have always worked hard since the beginning to achieve, and finally being at this point with the band, to us is just phenomenal.
"Going from having just one EP to having our debut album on a major death metal label used to be something we dreamed about, and it's hard to believe that it's actually happening! So we can't wait to get out on tour in 2011 and promote our debut album under the Earache banner."
CEREBRAL BORE have toured relentlessly around the globe, with appearances at such popular death metal festivals as Neurotic Deathfest in the Netherlands, Obscene Extreme in the Czech Republic and the Central Illinois Metalfest in the USA, as well as performing in countries such as Israel, Russia and more. The band also recently played at Earache Records' 2010 Christmas Party in Nottingham, England.
CEREBRAL BORE's self-released 2010 debut album, MANIACAL MISCREATION, is due to be re-released by Earache in the new year before the band works on its follow-up.
CEREBRAL BORE's music video for the track "The Bald Cadaver", which has been featured on the UK's Scuzz TV, is available to watch online below:
