Metalsucks just sent us an email about their current day-by-day coverage of all that's metal at this year's SXSW Music Festival, that took place last week in Austin, TX.

It's appears as though progressive instrumental juggerbeasts ANIMALS AS LEADERS will be signing to Sumerian Records! It really does seem like a great fit to have them on the label's roster.

Also, THE FACELESS (one of the killer bands on Sumerian) have parted ways with their bassist, who apparently quit the band a day before their current tour.

Instrumental scholars ANIMALS AS LEADERS have released their debut video for the song "CAFO" taken from the band's 2009 CRUSHING! self titled debut. Available via Prosthetic Records.

The video's special effects add the perfect layer to give the listener the visual beauty that transcends through AAL's technically proficient, unique blend of instrumental metal that the band has crafted a die hard following through. The video premiered on Guitar World yesterday, but I decided to wait till Proscethic Records released the high def version of the video for streaming via the label's official Youtube page. Because, believe me. This is a video worth watching in the highest quality (at your highest state).
