The Absence released a new video for the title track from their latest studio album "Enemy Unbound," out now on Metal Blade Records. The video was directed by Luke Leonard & Pia Hogue and features the return of the band's original drummer Jeramie Kling, after former drummer Justin Reynolds was involved in a car accident that caused him neck and back injuries.

The Absence have finally made their new album "Enemy Unbound" available for streaming via MetalSucks. Enemy Unbound is from start to finish, a power packed melodic death metal strike to the face, jam packed with face melting solos, drug addicting riffs, and layered with Jamie's slaughterous vocals, to give you a bloody 45 minute knockout.

The band recently shot a video for the title track, which should be available soon. You can check out behind the scenes footage from the filming below.

This is just too awesome to stress. I'm a personal die hard Absence fan, and been waiting for these guys to release a new album for ... well since I heard 2007's Riders of The Plague, which totally fucked my face up.

The band is currently streaming the title track off their 3rd and upcoming Metal Blade Records album "Enemy Unbound," and I've already been rocking the track on repeat since yesterday, when I first heard it. The song's got those Scandinavian goods, topped off with front man Jaime Stewart's brutal and addictively awesome vocals.

Extreme metal enthusiasts The Absence posted a blog on their Myspace page, stating that drummer Justin Reynolds got into a bad car accident recently, sustaining injuries to his neck and back. The full extent of his injuries as well as when he will be able to return to the fold is still unclear.

We wish Justin a speedy recovery. (as well as wish The Absence will release their new album already... damnit Peter! )

In the meantime, the band recruited fellow Tampa, Florida skinsman Matt Solka to fill the void.
