Metallica Comments On Grammy Nomination

Metallica's "The Unforgiven III" is up for a Grammy this year along with AC/DC, Alice In Chains, Lick My Park Linkin Park and Nickelback.

The band posted the following comment about the nomination:

"Tonight the fine folks as the Recording Academy announced that they have nominated us for a Grammy this year for the track 'The Unforgiven III' from Death Magnetic in the category of Best Hard Rock Performance.

It is an honor to be included with our fellow nominees ALICE IN CHAINS, AC/DC, LINKIN PARK, and NICKLEBACK."

The Nominees for "Best Hard Rock Performance" are:

AC/DC - War Machine [Black Ice]

Alice In Chains - Check My Brain [Black Gives Way To Blue]

Linkin Park - What I've Done [Road To Revolution: Live At Milton Keynes]

Metallica - The Unforgiven III [Death Magnetic] (sneaky bastards)

Nickelback - Burn It To The Ground [Dark Horse]
