Lamb Of God Comment On Grammy Nomination
Drummer Chris Adler had the following to say about LAMB OF GOD’s second Grammy nomination:"We are honored to be nominated once again. Regardless of the outcome, we are in very elite company and it's a proud moment for us and our fans. Thank you for recognizing us, we can't wait for the afterparty!"
LAMB OF GOD are no strangers to the Grammy Awards, as they were previously nominated in the “Best Metal Performance” category for their song “Redneck” from 2006 album “Sacrement”.
As was the case in 2006, the LAMB guys are up against some serious competition from Metal Forefathers and legends including: Slayer, Judas Priest, Megadeth and Ministry.
Guitarist Mark Morton commented on their nomination as well:
"Wow...our second Grammy nomination! Who would've thought?? As cool as it is to even be considered for such an award, the real thrill is that we're in the running alongside some of metal's greatest and most legendary acts. This is a lot of fun...thanks to everyone that voted us in."
