"A Word" With Aldo and Yannos from Deterrence !

Deterrence have been featured on "The Metal Reporter" on a few different occasions, why ?
because ass kicking is their specialty and I mainly report ass kicking material for the ass kicking readers out there .... so it all falls into place, Kick Ass !

They'll be going on tour supporting The Fitzpatrick Incident on their CD Release shows coming up this November.

I got the chance to have another interview with Aldo and Yannos, about kicking ass, whats the most Metal thing to do onstage, who would they like to tour with, saving lives "We actually saved a turtle from being crushed in a mall parking lot in Panama City Florida." and alot more.
Heres how it went:

Aldo and Yannos: We would like to start this interview by stating that today we will be doing the interview as our alter egos Latino Trash (Aldo) and the Mexican wrestler Sparta (Yannos)



TMR: How much kicking ass have you guys been doing lately ?

Sparta: A bit.

L.T: We have been mostly focusing on writing the new record. We will be kicking ass with our mini tour in November and then we got an all out American ass kickin’ in January.


TMR: Whats the most Metal thing to do onstage ?

Sparta: Backflips. Can you imagine if we were gymnasts and could do back flips on stage?? How sic would that be?

L.T: Spiting at people in the front row and pretending like its an accident.


TMR: Can you tell me about your musical background ?

Sparta: No. We listen to the music from sesame street

L.T: Actually he’s just being modest. He has a university degree in music. I on the other hand just like to jam and write cool riffs but also am inspired by sesame street.


TMR: Can you tell me about a crazy encounter while on tour ?

Sparta: There are a few. Every tour has lots of stories. We chilled with a crack head in Ohio while we were charging our laptop. I think she was trying to sell us pills.

L.T: Last tour we got the mic pulled on us because we were playing some Christian place and our singer Mike cannot go one second without dropping the F bomb.
We actually saved a turtle from being crushed in a mall parking lot in Panama City Florida. We have some of it on film which will get released eventually.


TMR: Which band would you like to go on tour with ?

Sparta: It doesn’t really matter, anyone that draws a crowd.

L.T: Norma Jean. We got drunk with them once and it was good fuckin’ times.


TMR: Do you beat up Emos ?

Sparta: Hahanah only on Sundays.

L.T: Emo girls are my best friends. But sometimes its hard to tell apart the guys from the girls.


TMR: Who's your Metal Idol ?

Sparta: No one, I don’t like people.

L.T: Same as above. Everyone fuckin’ sucks.


TMR: Can you list 5 of your all time favorite albums ?

Sparta: I dunno, I don’t have favorite albums. Unfortunately its not a question I can answer.

L.T: I wouldn’t be able to answer that. My taste changes too often. I would have to say that Deftones and Pantera would be on that list though. Far Beyond Driven and White Pony were huge influences on me.


TMR: What advice do you have to a young head banging musician starting out in today's scene ?

Sparta: Don’t do it, it’s a bad choice. it’s a stupid, stupid job.

L.T: Learn from your mistakes. If someone is dragging you down let them know and if they don’t change get rid of them. If you suck, give up.


TMR: Would you like to add anything ?

Sparta: Keep fit and have fun

L.T: Buy some merch people
