Bands Confirmed For The RAM Battle Rock Battle on January 7th (METALITY UAE)

Metal Asylum is proud to announce a real battle in the underground music scene here in Dubai, media, meet the “Musician’s Warehouse-Metal Asylum RAM Battle”, in association with TripleW.me.

From January 7th, bands from across the UAE’s rock and metal genres will battle it out to win the title of RAM (Rock and Metal Master) Master at Metal Asylum’s brand spanking new venue. On January 7th, punk rockers IED, rockers 2 zero 2, hard rockers Foolproof (Revolution Junkies playing under a different name as some of the original band members cant play that date), rockers Riff Raff and rock band Pure Mix will take to the massive, brand new Club Se7en stage at the Park Regis from 9pm, and let it rip in the fight for the title of RAM Rock Master.

Voting will happen on the night, so bands bring all your fans down to vote for YOU! Don't worry, the new venue can fit around 900 people, so there is plenty space!

The votes will be counted and the winners announced then and there.

We will also have judges from the local music scene on hand to finalise the decisions. We would like to welcome on board Paul Kelly from TripleW.me as one of our judges, as well as Joren Scharn, a well-known local musican and supporter of the local music scene.

Prizes for first round winners include gift vouchers from our main sponsor, Musician’s Warehouse, free jam sessions sponsored by In the Mix studios, and much, much more.

The winning band will also get a five gig tour in Malaysia courtesy of Vengeance Music, Saron Production and Fourhorsemen.

On January 14th some of Dubai's hottest metal bands, including Coat of Arms and Red Circle will break through the sound barrier and make your ears bleed in the quest for the title of RAM Metal Master.

In the final battle, in February, we will witness something that has never been done before. Rockers and metalheads will meet in a battle for the final title.

For the sake of fairplay, Metal Asylum is bringing in some of the best-known professional names in the local music scene to judge the final battle for supremacy.

The RAM Masters will win eight hours recording time at In the Mix Studios to perfect their masterpieces as well as vouchers from Musician’s Warehouse and several other prizes and of course, the prestigious title of the first EVER Musician’s Warehouse Metal Asylum RAM Master.

If this competition is a success, Metal Asylum will be running it annually to seek out the UAE’s best and brightest stars.

So head on down to Club Se7en at the Park Regis on January 7th for a night of pure rock n’ roll.

The votes received from this will allow the winner a special prize from triplew.me which will include; guaranteed ‘intimate’ filming session as part of the soon-to-be announced next version Makshoof Music, detailed profiling of the winner on triplew.me (video) and promotion of any tracks to its audience (downloads, links etc)”

So, if you are in a rock or metal band or know one, get them to join the RAM Battle BUT please note spots are filling up fast and spaces are limited. Bands have to come from the UAE and be over 21.
