Interview with James from The Fitzpatrick Incident, done by BloodGutter !

here's how it went:
The Fitzpatrick Incident is a 6-piece hardcore band based out of the Toronto and Markham regions. The band formed two years ago and quickly rose to popularity after playing countless live shows in and around the GTA, as well as winning over audiences with their highly energetic live performances and straight-forward honest lyrics. The band also utilizes two vocalists for a wide range of vocal styles and lyrical ideas. The band has recently released their first EP entitled “A Partisan Effort”, you may hear songs from the EP on their MySpace. Here’s a quick word interview I had with their singer:
BloodGutter: Please state your name, and what you do for the band.
James: James MFD, singer of The Fitzpatrick Incident.
BloodGutter: What do you believe makes The Fitzpatrick Incident stand out as a band?
James: I would like to think that my band stands out because of its highly energetic live show and positive message.
BloodGutter: You recently self-released your debut EP entitled "A Partisan Effort". Tell us a bit about what it's about, as well as your favourite song.
James: A Partisan Effort is our first offering as a band, as well as a little glimpse on our mission statement as a band: wanting to bring back community, unity and positivity in a scene and place where little of those 3 exist, I don’t really have a favourite song.
BloodGutter: What are you planning to do to support this EP?
James: Touring, touring, touring and promotion through our free online stuff - it’s easier to get the word out there nowadays thanks to MySpace.
BloodGutter: Agreed, and where do you see the band in a year from now?
James: Hopefully hitting up everywhere doing what we love, living in a van and playing to kids every night.
BloodGutter: Awesome, thanks for your time, any closing statements you'd like to leave?
James: Nope, thanks.
Dont forget to check out The Fitzpatrick Incident's Myspace !
I'd like to thank BloodGutter for sending me the interview, make sure to check back for his review of the recent In Flames and All That Remains shows in Canada !
